I'm hoping you might have insight on a couple things: 1) the PC stuff says that Chacos aren't acceptable for work, is that true? I'm going to buy a pair regardless, but I'm trying to decide if I need to drop a bunch of money on comfortable shoes that I can also wear for teaching. 2) You mention knitting, is yarn readily available? I also knit & hadn't thought about bringing my stuff till you mentioned it!
