We left Springfield at 7:30 this morning and made it to DC in two pieces. So far staging has been really great--everyone in our group is nice and normal all of things that one would hope. The Nicaraguan ambassador to the US came to answer a few questions and he was really awesome and informative. We actually leave for Managua on Wednesday morning, and we hope we'll have another good update then.

Wow, pretty impressive pictures. Your lives packed away into 4 small bags...and still room for Hot Tamales! Sounds like you're off to a great start.

Hey Guys! Happy International Workers Day! Hope you are psyched for M City. I will be getting in from my field research on the third of may as well. Send me an email if you are free any of the coming nights in the next week and I can meet you for drinks or dinner or something.
